Octavia makes a good arcane trickster and does silly damage that way due to how stealth attacks are implemented as well as being a good buff bot.I'm not after changing the classes of the prebuilt companions you receive(yet anyway) I just want a way to either change their stat distribution(so I can have them with the stat layout I want for them) or to give the custom mercenaries their special action during rests.Make sure "Only Give Active Companions EXP" is ON Talk to the Pathfinder and pick the option to recruit a mercenary companion *Before* the character screen comes up (so pretty much immediately after hitting the dialogue option), hit esc to bring up the menu and toggle "Only Give Active Companions EXP" to OFF.
