I would shoot at least 1500 rounds before tearing it down for a deep clean. I purchased a 22/45 Lite MKIII to shoot in the Challenge, but it will not run 100% reliability no matter what I do or what ammo I shoot. A very frustrating gun. Usually I'd recommend fixed lasers but the Cobra's small harpoint placement is so goddamn bad that gimbals are just better. The small hardpoint placement on the cobra isn't great - they're underneath at the back at the far edges. You are probably better splitting left/right instead of top/bottom.I have had 7 MKIII's I think, maybe 8, anyway Im down to my 2 most modified guns, a 6 7/8 inch Hunter and a 5.5 standard bull. Both have ALL the VQ upgrades, both are scary accurate. I will say my Hunter is MUCH easier to take the barrel off, the blued gun is a real bugger..
