Jackson, 10-20 Club has been working with youth in the City of Downey, Downey Unified School District and throughout Los Angeles County since 1992. The program was developed to provide early intervention to youth who were at risk for joining gangs in support of Gangs Out of Downey (GOOD). Many Rotary Club of Downey members have served as officers for the GOOD program since it was founded, in 1989, and Dr. Mary Stauffer’s contributions are primary in its success.
