2024 Browning a5 problems

I own an Browning A5 Ultimate. It is my go-to pheasant and goose gun. With its 26 inch barrel it is responsive, balanced, and smooth. The lumber draws attention to itself, fun to glower over. Shells wouldn’t load easily using speed load and after I emptied it I stopped using it due to the difficulties getting it to load. Once home I tried to release the bolt while taking it apart and the carrier release button wouldn’t budge. Broke out the screwdrivers and took it apart from the bottom. As was mentioned above, there's rarely a reason to totally disassemble an auto-5. It's easy to take the stock off to get to the return spring, and trigger assembly out, and barrel off, and recoil spring assembly. I agree, I have an old Browning A-5 Magnum that the previous owner dismantled to install a shell limiter in the magazine for the 3 shell limit for waterfowl. I got the gun for a song because it never functioned correctly. my hypothesis is that the bolt latch assembly is bent and causing the latch to not engage properly. if i put my hand on the inside of the receiver and apply pressure to the latch assembly, the latch will then engage and hold the bolt open. I find mine useful only for the duckblind, and intend on selling it first chance I get. The biggest problem I have is that it's busted two extractors, which turns my nice semi auto gun into a single shot in the middle of a hunt! Browning has taken care of them under warranty, I'm lucky to have an authorized repair shop pretty close so the turnaround time isn't too long, but I told them if it happens again I'm done with it and want ... .
