Check ground on frame rail under drivers seat and an engine ground on drivers side. Anyway, put a new gas pedal, and right away got 5 other codes. Sometimes truck would start and would not respond to gas pedal being pushed in at all. Put back the old one in. After monkeying around with it, changed the TPS and everything went away..
